Sheila Aikman (University of East Anglia) will give an overview of the Special Issue on “Indigenous Women and Adult Learning” published in the Studies in the Education of Adults, edited by Professor Anna Robinson-Pant and herself.

Sheila will present the emergence of ‘indigenous women’ as an important focus in the field of global education and discuss insights gained from the ethnographic studies of the special issues.

The webinar will be moderated by Dr Catherine Jere from UEA’s School of International Development who has also contributed to the Special Issue.
