An insightful session organised by the Centre for the Study of Global Development (CSGD) at the Open University, with Kavita N. Ramdas, a globally recognised advocate for gender equity and justice.
In this event, Kavita will offer a commentary on why the principles of feminism remain far from being integrated into either domestic or foreign policy and affairs, despite claims to the contrary by many so-called developed nations. She will also provide a reflection on why feminism and feminist movements hold so much potential and could offer an alternative paradigm for a new era.
This conversation will explore how feminist principles can reshape global approaches to equity and justice, driving societal and political change. Kavita’s extensive experience in global philanthropy, civil society, and gender justice makes her the ideal voice to lead this critical discussion.
