In this seminar, Dr Expedito Nuwategeka (Gulu University), Maria Fernanda Rodriguez (University of Cambridge) and Dr Rachel Wilder (University of Bath) will share findings from JustEd – a large international study – about how environmental education can contribute to climate action, justice and equity. Employing anthropocentric justice, as well as epistemic justice, they will share examples from Peru and Uganda that highlight current limitations in teacher training and the accreditation of teacher guidance, that this study has led in Nepal and Uganda.
