Modern education data systems and technologies offer unprecedented opportunities for governments to produce, use, and share the best possible education data with more people – from central and local to school-level authorities, and citizens and other stakeholders. Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) architectures have evolved into more complex, interoperable systems, enabling more precise planning and addressing issues of equity, inclusion, and sustainability.
However, how are these data concretely and effectively used? How are these technical advancements translated into tangible improvements in education delivery and outcomes?
This debate will explore promising strategies to encourage the effective use of education data, particularly by local authorities, schools, and citizens.
