Join the Comparative Education and International Development (CEID) Research Group at Moray House School of Education & Sport, University of Edinburgh as they welcome Dr Artemio Arturo Cortez Ochoa and Antonia Voigt. Their study investigates teacher accountability in two district urban environments – Mumbai in India and Kathmandu in Nepal. It explores how teachers in different types of schools (public, private-aided, and private-unaided) navigate their processional responsibilities within the broader accountability frameworks imposed by educational authorities and societal expectations.
